Business Bank Statements: What to Submit and Why They Matter

Recent business bank statements are one of the two items needed to apply for Business Funding or a Business Line of Credit from The Final Loans. Submitting complete, accurate statements helps the review move without delays.

Which Programs Ask for Bank Statements

The current Business Funding and Business Line of Credit programs require a completed business loan application and the recent 3 months of business bank statements. Loan Modification also asks for the recent 3 months of business bank statements, together with the completed application and the agreements or contracts signed with previous lenders.

Why Bank Statements Matter

Business financing is about more than the amount requested. Banking activity can provide context about deposits, withdrawals, cash flow patterns, existing payment obligations, and how the business manages incoming and outgoing funds. Statements show the actual financial picture of the business, which is what the review needs to see.

What Complete Statements Look Like

  • Statements for the business account, not a personal account
  • The most recent 3 full months, with no gaps
  • Every page of each statement, including pages with few transactions
  • The account holder name matching the legal business name on the application

Keep Records Unaltered

Do not alter financial records, transaction descriptions, balances, or other source documents. If something appears incorrect, ask your bank or the appropriate professional how to correct it. An accurate explanation of an issue is better than an altered document.

How to Submit Them

You can attach your statements when you complete the online application. The form accepts PDF, JPG, or PNG files. If the team later asks for additional documents, use the secure submission process provided by The Final Loans. Never send passwords, online banking logins, or security codes.

A Short Checklist

  • Recent 3 months of business bank statements, all pages
  • Completed business loan application
  • Accurate legal business information
